Raven Architectural Glazing is the Glazing Division of Hutchins
and Green Limited, an established building contractor based in Oxford. The Division
was founded in 1981 to service the glazing needs of the construction business
and has evolved into an independently functioning division of the company, working
for the parent company, as Principal Contractor on a glazing project or as a glazing
subcontractor to another contractor.
Raven offers the complete glazing solution, whether you are a
construction professional seeking guidance on system specification, budget pricing
or design, or a home owner requiring replacement windows. We specialise in non-standard
requirements and build-to-order, where the experience and expertise of our design
team and fitters is put to good use. Our projects range from a single pane of
glass, through major new build and replacement glazing and curtain wall schemes
with values up to £300,000 to a three year Safety Glazing Contract valued at £1.2
million. The geographic area of operation encompasses most of England and Wales,
depending on the size of the project. The operational back-up provided by the
parent company in areas such as health and safety, training and insurance cover
has facilitated the undertaking of larger and more complex projects. Raven has
a strong commitment to Health and Safety and is fully experienced and resourced
to fulfil its obligations as Principal Contractor as defined in the CDM Regulations
1994.
Raven Architectural Glazing has selected its product range with
care, endeavouring to combine value with the best quality materials available.
We are an Approved Designer/Manufacturer/Installer for a range of aluminium and
PVCu window, door and curtain wall systems and our team of fabricators and fitters
have been trained by the system suppliers accordingly. We manufacture aluminium
products in our fully equipped Aluminium Fabrication Workshop using profiles from
the Technal and Spectus ranges amongst others. We are also an authorised installer
of Vitral and Lonsdale patent roof glazing systems. PVCu products are supplied
by Spectus and specialist timber goods are manufactured to order in soft and hardwood
in the Joinery Shop.
